I just love it!

I just really love this picture from the Patagonia catalog! And it poses the question of how does the dog get up there? Jump? Does the guy fling it up there by the handle on it's vest? Drop out of a tree above? Um...it's pretty sweet no matter what. So, I just love it. And if Honey Bee were to get a brother in the future I am pretty sure it would be this dog. I just want to look at this picture all day. I love it!

Honey Bee's birthday!!

So, when I found Honey Bee almost three years ago, I wanted to know what date she was born so we could celebrate. October 19th kept appearing in my head, so apparently that is her birthday. I can't figure out how to celebrate since when I think of the things she enjoys doing: running away, devouring bleu cheese, and detroying toys, none of them seem very positive. Although I did seriously consider letting her run away for a while (she always come back) I decided against it since getting run over would be a really crappy birthday present that would probably not be soon forgetten. I think we will have to settle on a walk, lots of cuddling, and perhaps a movie later.

The fates decided...

Well that just erased itself. And thru some slip after fervently paging thru my 35 year old thesaurus to find the two perfect words that sum up my current existence, beginning to actually consider "guinea pigs with walkie talkies" as a blog title, I try the simple, and the computer decides it likes it and moves me on the next step. With that solved, I am officially jumping into the waters of the blogging world...splash! Hopefully this will eventually be erased, and if it is not, I hold no responsibility for embarrassment since I stated that it really should be erased some day. Someone ought to do something about that.
